Why do you guys give this guy such air time... seriously? He gives educated guesses, nothing more nothing less. Many of us that have studied/followed Apple and tech developments over the past 20 years could and do make the exact same 'predictions', many of which do come true at some point.

He's definitely hit or miss, but he's provided legitimate leaks about AirPods and AirTags before that turned out to be accurate. And some other things too, I don't have time to go through his full history but I think iMac renderings was a good one.

does anyone know if this rumored new apple watch design will have passable battery life? i'm still waiting for an apple watch with passable battery life.
Passable is subjective. And nobody knows what metrics you're looking for.

There's no indication and no "leaks" or rumours from any of the leakers about any level of increased battery life.

If the past Watches are any indication of future models, then Apple will "just" keep adding more and better health sensors and improve display and chassis design to the point where it's as flat as an actual, non-smart wrist watch.

Apple seems to think that making it charge faster and faster is a decent substitute for better battery life, which is maybe not completely untrue.

But I wish they could keep the size for a couple of generations and give it significantly better battery.

tldr; Those who are waiting for big Apple Watch battery upgrades are most likely waiting in vain.

You can think of Prosser whatever you want, but I love that at least in part because of him we’re getting those renders by Ian Zelbo.
Those are pretty cool and when he was on Luke Miani’s channel a while back, he seemed like a genuinely friendly guy.

I have a 6 (skipped the 7) and it goes all day without any issues. I wear it all day from about 7a to 9p, and charge overnight.
I’m still wearing my 5 and easily get 24 hours from it still, which includes sleeping with it and 30-60 minutes of daily cardio work. I don’t use the always on display because I see no reason to have it on when the Watch spends most of its time under a sleeve.

I will upgrade when the form factor changes, hopefully this year.

If you’re so concerned about who MacRumors selects for the podcast, why don’t you just tune out.

The idea behind the podcast isn’t necessarily to involve less credible people, but people who are involved in the tech industry in general who follow Apple, just as much as everybody else does on here.

No matter what the scorecard is for somebody’s reliability with Apple predictions, it’s all relative to discussion to see/understand multiple viewpoints.

I have since the pixel 3 ultra. He's been wrong far more often than he's been right, as much as you can be a fan of the format of FPT and Prosser's antics (or not, like me) - you can't really point to him in the same regard as Kuo, for example.
In fairness, nobody compares to Kuo. They’re totally two different types of ‘insiders’, where Kuo apparently has direct information to Apples supplier relations. And I didn’t see anybody compare Prosser to Kuo, and even if they did, it’s not comparable.

Any word on when Apple devices might get either (a) wi-fi 6e or (b) high accuracy GPS chips?

clearly you know more about my viewing habits than myself
I think you missed Alpi’s point. You indicated if if you’re ‘throwing things out, there is something bound to stick’, and what he saying, is that Prossers leaks are not relative to your logic. It really had nothing to do with your viewing habits.

You know who I haven’t heard/read anything from in ages? That lovetodream person with those cryptic “predictions”.
For a while that person’s posts were everywhere.

There was ‘talk’ that ‘lovetodream’ was a Chinese insider direct in Apples Foxconn factories and then there was also some speculation that that person was caught in a raid take-down, with a sponsored leaker. Also, their Twitter account was locked. And others thought this was a male, when it was speculated to be a female. Too many unknowns to be certain, but I would say some of what I posted is probably likely.
