I'm with you Dan on the Apple Watch. That is basically what it has turned into for me besides a fitness tracker. I get notifications and read enough to determine if I'll pick up my iPhone for more. I rarely do anything on the Watch itself as it just isn't very good (especially Siri).

A round version would be fine for my uses and look much better.

I'm with Hartley on this. I think the Silicon Cases are great. I'm a case guy and always have my iPhone in a silicon case, and they last for two years. I don't worry about dropping my iPhone, I would if it was without a case.

Tell me what? I’m just following the various conversations.
Turn off all your notifications from all your applications on all your devices.

Rather than your devices telling you when to check them, you decide when to check them.

Take back control from your devices. Do it now.

And let this notification of this post be the last time anyone in the digital world “tells” you to waste your time.

I appreciate everyone telling me that it shouldn't be an issue, but for some reason for me it is. It's easy to say you don't have to do it every day, but then I suddenly get urges saying "you better close your rings". Sometimes I do feel like the watch is going to punish me if I don't do it.

Is it stupid and sad that I admit that? Yes it is. I am embarrassed to admit that but it is almost like an addiction. I bought the watch to motivate me to be more active. Now I need to learn to ignore that motivation some days.

I don't have anxiety from the "close your rings" thing, but I did find the "how is you mood" thing not very helpful in that it often just butted in when I was in the middle of something and annoyed me so that I was in a worse mood because of it. So, I turned it off. :)

I'm close to do a full year streak (4 days left). After that I'm probably going to cut the Stand goal down to 6 and turn off most of the notifications for all that stuff. I still want to be motivated but I do need to learn to not be anxious about it, or feel those urges. Everyone is right when they say it's just a device. Well, like I said I bought the device to keep me motivated to stay active and work out more (And maybe lose weight in the process) and I don't want to treat it like an addiction.

iPhones are heavy, so for any weight conscious individuals an Apple Watch replaces the phone.

Now I only use my iPhone for taking pictures and videos. Or.. when I need to use apps. For Alerts, the Apple Watch replaces your phone. I was sick and tired of
