I get tired from holding my iPad and watching the screen within an hour, max. The Mac different. Not holding, using a mouse, farther distance from vision. Thus, much longer usage times between rests. Yes, one can change the iPad into a pseudo Mac. The point of the product was not to be a Mac. I would not expect anything different from Apple Vision Pro.

Is the Anna pro even better than the double strap that apples supplies as it seems a similar design?
Yes much better because it's a hard strap (with padding) and is forward tilted so most of the weight of the Vision Pro is then taken by this padded strap over the top of your forehead, with very little on the actual Vision Pro. It looks nice too - as if it's part of the device - and doesn't cost much. Can't believe Apple didn't ship something like this as it says it reduces the pressure by 60-90% and I'd say that's accurate. You get a bit of a red mark after extended use where the Annapro strap has been (around my hairline) but no discomfort or pain.

Personally, I don’t have a problem with the weight, I occasionally switch head bands, I find the dual loop better for movie sessions. I’d just like it lighter so I can wear it even longer 😬

But currently the tech and experience is well worth the mild discomfort for me. It’s incredible, I’m in love with it.

When spatial sports comes to this device, it’s going to explode, there is no doubt. The spatial trailer only has sports clips, but wow it’s amazing.

Just ordered one, thanks for sharing.

It does look very natural on the device.

The image of the guy using it without a light seal sold me, this hugely improves FOV when it’s used that way.

Yes, it works well with the Annapro and without a light seal so you get the peripheral vision which is nice. Without the light seal it's not as locked to your face so walking induces more motion blur but if you're in one place and not using immersive mode then it's a pretty good option. I'm going to experiment more with this for using it as a portable office setup.

I've seen a few videos on YouTube of people who say that the standout feature when they first tried it was immersive video (I agree) but that over time they've developed a good workflow in it. I'm personally a fan of having some 'deep work' blocks in my calendar when I can really concentrate on doing one thing really well and I think the Vision Pro might help with that as you can dial out the rest of the world, put yourself on Bora Bora beach (the VisionOS 2 beta is definitely worth using) and only bring up windows for what you need. It's like the iPad Pro on steroids: not something I can use for my complete workflow but good for very concentrated focus.

but don't you get lots of light bleed from the real world around all the edges without the light seal? doesn't that look / feel weird?

It works well in pass through (windows in your environment) feels a lot more like AR glasses, but id still need/use a light seal for full immersion such as watching movies in cinema or working in virtual environments.

It‘s much more than better, it’s totally a game changer. The design is completely different, AnnaPro distributes most of the weight at the top of the forehead.
I assumed I needed an alternative strap, I've changed straps on every VR headset I have or have had, except the Quest Pro (which has a similar front strap to the AnnaPro).

How dare you be realistic? 😃

Hartley's comments about fit and weight are normal. You guys are not used to wearing something on your head. Wear it every day and you'll start to get used to it. There is fatigue with any type of head gear. I am surprised you two don't know this.

It's Apple. More native apps will come. More immersive videos will come. Immersive sports will come.

This week's Vision Pro podcast sounds more like complaining than an evaluation or constructive criticism.
Yup - Bang on.
