How many of you play this game? Do you like it? What would you recommend this game?
 
Holy crap! This is still one of my favorite games. It's great, the missions are fun, the world is huge, and the ability to call in a bomb strike and new vehicles is great. It's great to mess around, but the story is also fun. I've beaten it a few times and just can't wait for Mercs 2 in August.

That was probably my favorite game for PS2. I played it on a friends xbox and then bought it the next day. I've been waiting for World In Flames for a while, it's been delayed a bunch, but it was (of one) my main reason to get a PS3.
 
I have another question? Is Mercenaries 2 going to come out on PS2? If so, I would like to buy that game too.

Ah iPhil, you beat me to it. I loved my big fat PS2 it worked great and still does. But my backward-compatible PS3 sorta took it's place under my TV.
 
ya i got the 40gb PS3, so there is still room for the big fat PS2 :)

Mercs is tons of fun, and even though the missions can get a little repetitive, blowing stuff up, doesn't. Any game that doesn't blow stuff up is most likely not worth your time. ;)

I played this game non-stop already since I got it and recently I already captured Ace of Hearts. I am obsessed with this game. :D Such a good game.

How far you into Mercenaries? :D What do you want to see after Mercenaries 2?
I think Mercenaries in Iraq would be best. That should be Mercenaries 3.
 
I've beaten the game 5 times now, and it still gets plenty of use out of my ps2. And dont forget, CHEATS!!!!

here is where you can find all the cheats that made me happy. and get this. ITS STILL FUN TO PLAY WITH CHEATS ON.

but dont cheat all the time :)

Hey, Indiana Jones skin "cheat" is not really that much of a cheat is it? ;)
I use it all the time, does that make me a cheater? :D
 
No, I'm talking about like infinite health and ammo. (Which are still used tons by me)

I use unlimited ammo from time to time but never infinite health.
I use the anti-armor rifle as my main weapon.
 
yeah thats my fav 2. the cheat weapons drop is fun for a while, but its nice to take a break with some more realistic weapons. i didnt like how the street sweeper stuck out of your shoulder instead of resting on your back

Who's the character you play as? Who's your favourite country/organisation to work for?
I play as the American guy and I like to work for the Mafia the most.
 
Yeah, no. That footage is the same for all of them, most likely taken on a PS3 or an Xbox 360. Sorry to disappoint you.
