It really bugs me when people can't separate the device from the OS and bitch about all these issues it has when the culprit is just that 7.0.4 needs to bump to 7.1 pronto.

Seeing as how he cannot upgrade to 7.1 currently unless he is a developer, or does it illegally, it's not his fault that he can't separate the two.

Even if he could, he is still completely right to complain about a malfunctioning device--whether the root be software, firmware, or hardware. For the general populace, they are buying a device in the singular.

For a premium tablet, it should not have these basic problems (safari crashing, yellow screens, restarts, resprings, etc.)

I have owned almost every Apple product (iphone, ipad, macbook, etc.) and this is the worst one I've owned. My 4 year old 17 macbook pro has fewer problems than my brand new ipad air.

A few things to mention here.

One is that, since this is an OS situation, it's not unique to any specific model of iAnything.

Secondly, this is what we call an anecdotal issue, not a systemic one. Yes, a lot of people clearly aren't a fan of iOS7, but that's kinda what happens with every goddamn version of everything. Some people have a bad experience with it, so the fix pops up or they exchange it for one that works better.

I don't know if I'm just Captain Lucky or what, but I picked up a Macbook Pro, a 5s, and an rMini within the same month and all three have been stellar. So people are acting like these things are an epidemic of failure... I don't think so.

Actually, it's only manifesting problems on the iPads. Ios7 has been fine on my iPhone 5 since launch.
