Apple today announced that the second season of drama series "The Morning Show" will premiere September 17 on Apple TV+. The 10-episode season will premiere with the first episode, followed by one new episode weekly, every Friday.

Apple shared a teaser trailer for the second season on YouTube:

Starring and executive produced by Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, "The Morning Show" unveils the power dynamics in the workplace between women and men, and women and women, in a morning talk show environment. Along with Aniston and Witherspoon, the star-studded returning cast includes Steve Carell, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, and others.

Apple's announcement sets the stage for what to expect in season two:
Picking up after the explosive events of season one, season two finds "The Morning Show" team emerging from the wreckage of Alex (Aniston) and Bradley's (Witherspoon) actions, to a new UBA and a world in flux, where identity is everything and the chasm between who we present as and who we really are comes into play.
Apple TV+ costs $4.99 per month, with a seven-day free trial available. An extended one-year free trial is also available with the purchase of most new Apple devices.

Wow, Apple TV+'s fall season is gonna be great! Between this, Invasion, and Foundation. Wowza.

Morning Show was one of my favorite shows on TV+ - it's been way too long since S1. I hope Chip and Cory (my favorite two characters on the show) get a lot of screen time.

Having recently purchased a new M1 MacBook Air, I have just signed up for my free year of Apple TV+. I will give this series and a few others a try. Without an Apple TV device is there any way to watch these shows on my LG television or am I limited to my laptop?

You can download the Apple TV app to 2019 and newer LG smart TVs as described here.

Surprise
My "year" trial ends July 1st. I was hoping that with every new Apple purchase they would extend my free service, but that appears to not be the case. I enjoy some of the shows - The Morning Show, Lasso, Mythic Quest. At this point though I don't think it is something I'll keep monthly. Maybe get it a couple months a year to binge watch. I have too many services already with stuff I need to catch up watching!

I liked this show but the gratuitous f-bomb every other word was unnecessary. Hopefully they didn’t carry that into season 2.
Well people do use the f-bomb in regular life so…
Personally my standout line and laugh was from Jennifer Anniston, “well maybe the dog had an abortion!” ?

The F-bombs aren’t really necessary, but at the same time, we use it all the time in manufacturing. I guess that it is pretty normal to use the f-word in the south, and I don’t mean it because I had two engineering directors from the UK that used it all the time, either.

This actually looks bad. More american cheese I guess.

For me, the best ATV+ show was Defending Jacob. TMS S1 was ok but cliche on so many levels but it was still watchable. This on the other hand looks awful.

I’m so ready for this! I only just got AppleTV+ so only just watched season 1. It was really great television and the finale was just perfect! I can’t wait to see the aftermath unfold in season 2.

In the middle of several books.

Nothing wrong with American cheese, although I don't really care for Blue cheese. Shredded cheese is fine as well so long as it doesn't get all lumped together. Mozzarella cheese is one of my favorites. :D

I’m in the same boat, expiring early July. I’m disloyal to any one streaming service to keep it year ‘round, and only subscribe when there’s enough to watch for a month or if something is particularly excellent. I loathe spending a lot of time scrolling through screen after screen of offerings and not finding anything worthy.

That said, I’ll keep ATV+ for a couple of months past the free trial for Ted Lasso season 2. Can’t wait!

I stopped watching season 1 due to all the excessive cursing. I get that a lot of people curse as much as they breathe air but, for me, it became a thorn in the ears.
I also watch Servant. There are a lot of F bombs on that, too. And oh is it ever weird to see Rupert Grint, who will forever be Ron Weasley to our family, speaking in an American accent and dropping F bombs and smoking and drinking and doing drugs. I am glad to see him on the show, though. He’s good in the role.

That’s a show we watch when the kids are out of the house. And since they haven’t been out of the house until recently, we are just catching up on that show.
