The music in WWDC 2008

Do you guys remember when "It's a small world" played when El Jobso was showing how many countries Apple added to the list? It's not playing or not there for some reason now. It's like the whole audio got bleeped out for some reason. Why did it get removed?

They didn't get permission from Disney to include in the filming.

Haha! Really? I was wondering why it didn't work the second (don't make fun of me) time I watched the keynote. But I thought Apple pretty much owned Disney, since Jobs is the majority share holder at Disney (Do I have my facts straight?)

Er, no. Steve got about 7% of Disney shares as part of the Pixar deal, so he's the largest individual shareholder, but holds far from a majority of shares. And just because he's part owner doesn't mean that Disney shouldn't obtain a licensing fee from Apple for use of the song. Apple deemed it wasn't worth the effort and/or cost of doing so.
