The mute button fell of my iPhone 3G

Has anyone else experienced this problem? My 3G has never been dropped on the mute button(or dropped at all to be exact).

do you mean the silent switch?? Its a common problem, they replaced mine no questions asked

I'm sure they will replace it, should not be a problem if additional damage is not evident. Just bring it into Apple... Just curious what model is it? (Black 8/16GB or White)?

i've heard it happened to plenty of people on forums..
mine is hard to switch,need to use my nails,you can actually see when it's on that it's not straight,will be sending mine in for this and other issues

Mine broke of 45min after I brought my phone home. It was loose and just came off.
