You had a thread last Thursday saying your late-2013 was not as snappy as it used to be and that it was slow at opening apps. Now, you say the nTB MBP is slower than your late-2013? My base model nTB MBP is pretty snappy.

You're exactly right. I used y'alls tips and now it's snappy. It was a RAM usage issue I think. I'm logging out of multiple accounts which is using less RAM and it feels pretty snappy again.

Are you on the same os version

Yes, OS Sierra
[doublepost=1486342043][/doublepost]I think it could be because even though mine is older it's a 2.6 GHz i5 vs the new one which has a 2.0 GHz i5

I have a base CPU, 16GB RAM, 512SSD nTB 13” MBP and it is the fastest Mac I’ve used so far. Granted, I’m not editing or exporting 4K video, but am very pleased with its performance.
