The new Airport Extreme

since it's using different technology, will my airport express be able to connect and expand it's range?

if not, can i still use it as a place to wirelessly print but will the two signals hurt each others range?

You should still be able to use WDS to extend the range of one with the other. Creating two separate networks would affect each of their reception and therefore their performance. 🙂
