Yep. The iPhone 5s was pretty special too. The X was great because of the radical change but it had a little lag. My only complaint with the 11 is that the back is a little slippery and I’m more compelled to use a case.

I agree... but the hardware & software interface is just as bad as the 7 was for me. I think the A13 isn’t actually any better or more efficient to the A12. My Xs Max was perfect and had 0 glitches (even on beta software) but even after restoring this (11 Pro) phone to “factory settings”... it still freezes and glitches a ton, and goes slow. It could JUST be iOS 13, but again my Xs Max had no issues at all on the beta, it never got too hot and I received no alerts of temperature overheating. I received 2 warning on this phone using Apple apple. *its weird.

From what I see on the web and media elsewhere, it is the 11 (not Pro) that is being touted as the new favourite - article headlines just constantly pushing the narrative of how its cheaper than the Xr was and has basically almost the exact same internals as the 11 Pro.

For myself, my all time favourite / most significant upgrades have been the original iPhone, iPhone 4, and iPhone X. I’d say the X is still my favourite of all time, with the 4 closely behind it.

I agree. The 4 was always my favorite as well. It was “dethroned” by the X but now my 11 Pro is easily my favorite of all time. I’ve had every generation starting with the original. My least favorite being the 3g followed by the 5.

The iPhone 8 Plus is/was my favorite and incredible to me. I didn’t have one issue with it and the gold color looked sweet.
the X was cool, but the 11’s cameras blow that out of the water.

The gold on my iPhone 8 was my all time favorite color. I have the Pro in gold and while pretty, it just isn't the same.

The 11 max pro is my favourite of the ones I've had, but I never had a 4. Still, Apple did pretty well for a year that was expected to see only minor updates. I think maybe they finally got the aesthetics right on the camera bump.

No matter what the favourite is now though, I expect that will switch to the first phone that hasn't got a notch, whenever one comes out.

Is have to agree with others here. The iPhone 4 was just so sick. Steve Jobs was so proud of that phone and the whole photo type leaking fiasco was cool too. But when they announced the X I was like WOW. But now that I have the 11 pro I’d have to say this is my favorite iPhone by a long shot. Battery life is beyond amazing to my standard and the camera on this thing is just simply stunning. iPhone 4 was also my first iPhone so that will always have a special place in my heart.

The iPhone 4 was incredible at the time. It was so far ahead of the competition with build quality, materials and that retina screen. Just a shame that antenna-gate happened as that put a lot people off

The 11 pro max is by far the best phone I have had. I have always been and android fan but tied to Apple because the family share simply works better. The pro max is the first iphone that I have not been bored with shortly after getting it. I can use the crap out of this phone and still be at 70% at the end of the day. I see me keeping this one a nice long while.

Yeah I’m really impressed by this phone, too. I really like the midnight green color, too. (Though mint green is a favorite color so it was hard to turn it down on the iPhone 11 after Apple finally made my dream color).

When I tried the X a couple of years ago I felt it was cramped. But now I’m good with the size of it after trying so many different phones of different dimensions and weights.

Mine has been running cool with good battery life. I think anyone experiencing otherwise should return or exchange if possible.

iOS 13 is a little glitchy, though.

Yes I truly agree. iPhone X followed by the iPhone 4S - the camera in the 4S was a HUGE improvement over the 4 which was very yellowy for indoor shooting. I skipped the 6, 6S, 7 & 8 as I absolutely hated their thin aluminium design which IMO looked so dated at the time. The X made me love the iPhone again! Again, the 5S/SE is a great design but just too thin/light/gragile looking for me. I love the build and weight of the stainless steel designs of X, XS & 11 Pro. Just keen on the larger phones though - I'm really hoping for the 5.4" iPhone 12 Pro with ProMotion display next year :)
