Could anyone who has the new iPad tell me about what is the memory usage when there is no app is opened?

I know for iPad 2, the memory usage by the OS by default is about 250 MB.

How is the iPad 3? Thanks in advance!

Wired = 9.5% 93.7 MB
Active = 11.8% 116.9 MB
Inactive = 6.6% 65.1 MB
Other = 11.2% 110.2 MB
Free = 60.9% 602.0 MB

Sorry, can't attach an image, I'm on my iPad and apparently Safari doesn't support it. If it does I can't find how.

Oh, this is using System Status app and it was the only one opened at the time. I took a screen shot and get the info from that.

Thank you very much! This confirmed me that it's time for a new iPad now.! :D

Yeah, the bump in ram makes it worth the upgrade IMHO.

5.0 caused a lot of issues with my iPad 2 and even though 5.1 was a bit better it's still not quite right.
