The new iPad is getting hotter at the bottom left!

As the title, I updated to ios6 now it's even more hotter than ios5.
Do I send it for servicing?

Ok but the heat will slowly degrade the components right? The thing is I did not experience this in ios5...

Sure, but over time. I think your just experiencing a resourceful OS. Apple will optimize it (hopefully) eventually.

Ok I just reduced the brightness and turned off auto-brightness now the heat is back to where it was during ios5.

No one should ever need to use the iPad at full brightness when indoors. I find even 50% brightness to be insanely bright at the best of times.

This is true. Even outdoors, I back off the brightness just a bit, maybe set it around 90% when I'm in a bright ambient environment. If I go 100%, that last little 10% seems to eat the battery very quickly. And the brightness difference between 90% and 100% is minimal. It's a cost vs performance issue for me.
