just an FYI , i called FedEx and i was told ... if you miss delivery on Friday FEDEX will be reattempting delivery on Saturday again , special arrangements by apple....so if missed we don't need to wait till Monday !

Getting worried. Mine is sitting in Middletown PA since March 11th. It hasn't been updated still. It says estimated delivery March 16th but hasn't moved. Could it be possible it has been moved but not scanned? Starting to wonder if it will show up tomorrow.....
Put it to you this way, Apple guaranteed it will be there on the 16 so if its not, call and get you free $40 case. I'm kind of hoping mine doesnt come tomorrow even through I CMD R every 30 minutes

Yup add me to that list as well; I am in NH also and mine has been sitting in Middletown PA since the 11th. I called my local fedex to see if they could hold the package for me; sounds like a no go; apparently apple gave them strict instructions not to hold the new iPad packages. Perhaps a security thing?
Ok, mine left Oakland about 4 o'clock this afternoon. It should be in the Palo Alto center any time now. And from there it will be "out for delivery!" Yes.

package currently being held?Not specifically but it was implied that they will be delivered tomorrow. I think as one of the previous posters mentioned, the pallets of iPads destined to certain areas have likely not been scanned; thats all. I am willing to bet that they are sitting in Londonderry (regional fedex distribution center for NH) right now.
Are prices higher at the apple store than they are online? I ran across a site stating it was $40 higher. I plan on camping out in the morning because I decided to go with a 32gb instead of the 16gb I preordered (delivers by the 21st but Is still in processing since 3/9) but when I called apple they said that would move my date to 4/5 . If they are more expensive in store I'll just stick with the 16gb!

Wonder what kind of check Apple wrote to FedEx for all of these shipments? Amazing.
