i mean holy **** that thing is thin. and they managed to keep something that small, cold and quiet too. lol it amazed me but i don't think u could really use it for any minor gaming cause a graphics card on that puny thing needs a big ass fan.

Actually, I think gaming wise it would be on par with first generation MacBooks. It has a lower clock speed, but it's a different architecture, it has more ram, a higher front speed bus, more L2 cache and a better GPU.

I think it could handle games like World of Warcraft just fine.

I own a blackbook and i have never considered it bulky. I guess i just don't see the need for an even smaller notebook with less features that cost more.

I own (soon at any rate) a MBA and I have never considered it lacking in features. I guess I just don't see the need for an even heavier notebook with more features that I will never use even though it costs less.

See how that works both ways?

To the poster a few posts above regarding games. I see no reason the MBA won't run games just as well as the MacBook as long as it does not require the disc in the drive! Any game that would need a faster processor would also need better graphics to start with... WoW will not be any problem...

HaHa... you own (soon at any rate)... no dude you ordered/waiting for an MBA.. you don't own one. You are one eager fellow aren't you? :D

...but that computer looks so ugly unlike the MacBook Air.

The MacBook Air looks pretty ugly in places too, mostly with the horrid black keyboard. At least Lenovo managed to make the keyboard the same colour as the computer.

I like the black keyboard, the MacBook Air looks like it is one piece instead of several different things put together. Apple's designs in general are like this.

What are you talking about? Thats the complete opposite... The macbook air looks like two computers cobbled together. The black keyboard looks terrible and very out of place.

I sure am eager. And yes I already own it. The money has been charged, so its paid for. That makes me the 'owner' of the item regardless of where it is...

Same here. I absolutely hate the MBP keyboard. In fact as I am sitting here typing on it in front of the fire, the contrast makes it very hard to see the letters. Its equally bad with or without the backlight...

I see you like it so much that you ordered a MacBook Air

What item would that be exactly? The funds could be credited back to your account. Come on now.. you don't even know what you own. For all you know you could own an MBA box full of rocks or worse. You don't own anything eager beaver. You own a promise at most.

Seriously. You've *ordered* a Macbook Air. You don't actually *own* one until you have it in your possession.

Come on people, this thread isn't about if someone owns a MacBook Air or not, its about how great the MBA is (or how some people think its not).
