OK... it sucks for games and you really can't do anything with it. May as well get a PSP.

Please stop trolling all the MBA threads. Surely there must be some kind of rule against people like you on these boards? /offtopic

Personally I think its an excellent design. It looks absolutely stunning in the images, and I am always amazed at how much better the Apple products look in real life, so this should be a gem.

I would prefer it not wedge shaped, but I am also a realist. Apple did the only sane thing by making it thin where they could and thick where there was no other way. I do think that they did make it slightly wider than they 'may' have had to, in order to give the illusion of it being even thinner, by tapering the edges.

I would be surprised if this thing does not win design awards to be honest...

I'm more like a tick than a troll. Trolls don't stick around as long as I do. So commenting that it sucks for games because of a poor video crd is trolling? I bet you the PSP got a better graphics processor.

The point is that the PSP is not a computer like the MBA so you can't really compare those two products.

i disagree.

I would be surprised if this thing does not win design awards to be honest...

Are your serious? It looks like a little MBP with a MB keyboard.... only thinner.

Kudos to the engineering team..... but the design is nothing extraordinary.

Nothing extraordinary? Being the most of anything (in this case thinness) takes something out of 'ordinary'...

I admit that the MBA isn't everything I had hoped for in the performance aspect. (I dont want to go more in-depth (beating a dead horse)) Ok, but the design is most definitely "extraordinary." I mean it has to be one of the most beautiful laptops on the market today! :apple:

i mean holy **** that thing is thin. and they managed to keep something that small, cold and quiet too. lol it amazed me but i don't think u could really use it for any minor gaming cause a graphics card on that puny thing needs a big ass fan.

Its not meant to be a games machine; if you want to play games, get a games console.

It is a seriously slick looking little computer. I am having a hard time not justifying to spend half my student loan on one, even though I know if I did I should get a pro. Does anyone know yet if the optional super drives will work on say, a Mini with only a combo? I can justify buying a Time capsule, and a super drive if it works on my wife's mini.

Newbie question: What's a troll?

Somebody who baits other people by posting things that do not contribute to the original post, has no interest in furthering discussion, and generally makes off topic remarks; mostly to annoy others. /offtopic

I would put money on it winning design awards. It is absolutely stunning. The lack of ports just adds to that as does the lack of a super drive. I don't usually get all excited about tech for the sake of it, but the MBA is amazing...
