I don't why but the new Macbook pro 14'' base reminds me of the old 2017 retina macbook pro without the touch bar, this would likely become super cheap on sales and upcoming months. They did not do as well because of their limited performance. They also had less ports and even though I am an apple fan 8 gb of ram on a pro model? Im not a pro user and using chrome with multiple tabs on my old m1 would slow it down a lot. What do you guys think about that laptop? I do no think its worth it of the PRO name.

The entry level 14" MacBook Pro M3 is going to be a 🔥 seller. Configured with 16GB it's just about as fast as the 14" MacBook Pro M2 Pro, is $200 less & has 4 hours more battery life. The only downside here is the single external display limitation. For most people this is going to be A-okay. If you're doing anything more robust you're better off with the M3 Pro. But for even moderate Final Cut Pro usage for example the performance will probably be perfectly acceptable.

14" M3 also loses the third ThunderBolt port on the right side.

“pro” is just a marketing term. All it really means is higher spec than baseline. I wouldn’t get too hung up on it.
iPhone Pro Max?
Really/ it’s absurd.

Its really for people like me, that want the 120hz mini Led screen but not a power user. (I have the M1 pro but if I was getting one now I'd get the base 14 inch M3 pro)
