The New Macbook

    Pricing held to $999.

    Lost the firewire though. I'm not to sold on the softened look though. I like sharp edges. :eek:

    Overall, this thing looks good. Been waiting for this update for 6 weeks now. Getting one as an Xmas present for my kid-who-gets-straight-A's-and-is-never-a-problem. She won't suspect a thing. heh heh. :D

    Just taking a quick look at the specs across the whole portable line, it looks like the MacBook is the best at it's price point. Just speaking on the 13-inch MacBook and MacBook Pro, the only thing that really separates them is CPU speed, aluminum vs. plastic and maybe screen and minus FW on the MacBook. Everything looks/is the same. Now with Apple advertising that the plastic should hold up better, the MacBook, already the best-seller, just got better.
