Smartass comment hehehe. It's not about adding seconds to your life, it's about a phone being fast when you need it to. 😉
For an example, far too many times have I missed capturing a moment with the Note camera because of lag, when I could have done so with an iPhone. Just one example. 🙂
No but seriously, it's such an overblown issue. It's literally milliseconds. While my iPhone doesn't really lag I do notice it lags when opening the camera app so it's funny you bring that up. Not only lag opening the camera app but horrible shutter lag, I'd frequently miss shots of my very fast moving toddler and losing family pictures to iOS lag is unacceptable to me. Also I had more of an issue with iOS force closing apps frequently for no reason at all and also not being able to have many browser tabs open, both of those were deal breakers for me and Android is much more stable in this sense.
Can't believe you are deciding on what phone to get by judging speed on a first hands on review when you don't know what was open on said phone but each to their own enjoy your iPhone 6
Learn to read, I said I will have to try the phones in store myself before I decide. But I'm definitely leaning towards the iPhone.

Those seconds are important to me. And now with the iPhone 6 being much faster than the iPhone 5S it's not even a contest between Note 4 and iPhone 6+ in terms of speed, which was kinda my point. No way I'm getting the old iPhone 5S haha. I wish Samsung would have just gone with 1080p on the Note 4 for better performance but you know... they always need to make unnecessary specs upgrades to appear better than the competition.
Like I said, slow opening and closing of apps is not important to some people. To me it is!
A trick on the Notes is to enable developer options and disable transition animations.

I think you've got a good point here. That being said, for the average person who doesn't want to or isn't confident tinkering, the iphone does offer a great experience out of the box.Properly configure a Note and your opinion will likely change because the results will be vastly different. Again, see the many posts about how a Note series can be customized and configured so much that even as it relates to speed, tons of gains are right there before you.
Think of it like a Porsche Panamera or M6 or better yet, a Lambo (if you've ever driven one of them). They can be as smooth and tame as the old guy next doors Caddy but with the push of a button and a few minor configurations they have made available to the users, they are beasts that belong on a track.
Unlike Apple, Samsung and many androids, Apple doesn't leave much if any room to configure their devices for real meaningful use or benefits.
I'm really bothered that another phone opens an app a millisecond before my own. The days of lag are gone. All flagship devices are plenty fast and have been for some time.
I'm going to shift the blame off of Samsung, LG, and every carrier phone and blame the carriers. Its their junk that they put on the phone that is slowing them down. For some reason the iphone gets a pass on this hatchet job the carriers carry out on other phones and maybe that is Samsung's fault for not forcing them to stop but to blame the phone for any slowness is the carriers fault plain and simple. You won't believe the crap AT&T installs on android phones and even with all their junk software installed I still don't see any lag on recent devices. That said, this video is a joke. What I take from this is how paltry IOS is compared to android. Just look at how nice those thumbnails look and animations that IOS won't do because they know it will slow it down. But hey, guess what, you can turn them all off so 6 ways to Sunday this video review us lame.
So many people have ZERO clue this can be done, thus they see the transition, even 1x, as lag when in fact, it's NOT. Turn off such things and new apps open instantly. Not even a millisecond of noticeable delay.
If you're a car person, it's like disabling torque management and stability/traction systems when at the track. With them cars will bog and "lag" However, with them properly tuned off, instant and ultimate power meets ground.....but let's not forget good slicks.

Which thumbnails and animations are we talking about? The Note 4's/touchwiz's animations are awful. Did you see when you close the app how ugly the animation is (and how long they take to start after you press the app)? Looks worse than iOS' from 2007. And what thumbnails? The ones in messaging and contacts? They're hideous, like I always say, I don't want to see my contacts face every time I send them a message and after every message in the conversation. There's a reason stock android doesn't have these. They're absolutely awful. Maybe you're thinking of different thumbnails but those are the only ones I noticed.
Lag gone? No... Just look at when you unlock the device. And don't say it's because it a prepro because it happens on every android phone I've used. Theres significant lag when opening the gallery app, when loading pictures, when launching every app.
