I presume OP was talking about the new animation by the volume buttons. Also happens for the action and power buttons.

Its the speaker icon, it changes from no semi circle next to it, to 1, to 2, to 3 as you increase the volume.

It’s a nice effect when I’m changing the volume with those side buttons. However, that animation also plays if I’m pressing the volume or lock buttons on my Bluetooth keyboard. Looks very odd.
