I respectfully take your points and generally fully agree with you - I'm self aware that associating colour preference to gender or sexuality sounds rather old fashioned (and it does) yet it's something designers are still acutely aware of when they design many everyday things. My guess is Apple would also be aware of this so either they are more progressive than other designers or the Sierra Blue actually looks a whole lot different to the renders - I'll have to go and check out the videos. The old version of me would pretty much burn you for making such a comment. However, you like everyone here, including myself, are free to have that opinion
I kindly disagree. I think its a great color. I love blue but there are shades I do not like of blue. PB was one of them. It was an OK color just too tilted towards the green end for me.
I don't think any color is feminine. I think that's something people learn/get ingrained into them socially. People can like any and every color, male, female, neutral, non binary. It doesn't need to be linked to your gender or sexuality. It's a personal preference and something you like.
As I grow older, I don't give 2 💩's what people think of me or my things. It's what I like and want. 😎
Also colour is totally subjective, whilst you weren't so keen on Pacific Blue I really liked it but I just see the Sierra Blue totally differently - irrational associations it maybe but they're still there. Anyway, I'm still entertaining getting it as I really don't like Silver or Gold and Graphite just seems so boring and predictable.
