I thought I saw an application somewhere that allowed iPod Touch users to share files by sending them over WiFi. Not sure on all the details, that's just what I thought I saw.

Anyways, this got me thinking. With the built-in WiFi, couldn't Apple link iPod Touches together? Then people could play against each other in games.

I'm sure there are more possibilities, but I just had the idea and thought it would be cool.

I think they need to do wireless syncing with your desktop/notebook first.

Apple might have to lease the patent rights. The Zune has been able to locate and send files to other Zunes. Samsung's P2 has games that can be played between samsung models via bluetooth. I just left a comparison of the new Zune and the new Nano on my blog. What the Zune can do with it's wifi is it's strongest value at the moment.
