I know the woes about the Mighty Mouse. This is the next-generation Apple Mouse, a concept I've done.

7 physical buttons, Multi-Touch, MagSafe, Bluetooth and laser. Read about this image here.

Update: Here's the keyboard in white.

VERY nice! One thing I would add is a light up sensor (where to track ball normally is) to serve as a "scroll sensor."

Anyways, that looks really cool! I can SO see Apple making a mouse like that.

As long as it has a right click, and not a "one finger up right click detection" like the current apple mouses, then good idea. But that whole setup apple is running now in their mighty mouse frustrates me to no end when using 3d modeling software. Not the best choice, but I had already purchased it for other reasons, still hate it.

More than awesome, mouse and keyboard!

Personally I think the Mighty Mouse is the worst Apple product of these days. The clicking is bad, the side buttons are a pain in the ass, and the ergonomics could be a bit better.

While it is being charged/used. If it is being charged on a table, and plugged across to a wall, people can trip on the cord, that could yank it to the floor without a magsafe adapter.

BTW.. nice new avatar. It was time for a change, and it is nice and refreshing. :)

Only problem I see is finding the right balance of magnets for the mouse, too much and the mouse goes flying anyways, too little and using the mouse while plugged in will pull the cord. However a charging dock for the MM would be practical. The keyboard should be heavy enough to hold its own.

man i'd kill for a wireless keyboard with multi touch track pad... or heck.. a bluetooth trackpad!

and 7 buttons? jeez

lets see

Left,
Right,
Middle (dashboard),
Squeeze (Expose)

the others for spaces, and back and forward on the browser? (or maybe show desktop and cycle through windows?)

that would be a sweet mouse!

i'm about to go with the logitech MX revolution though... ;)

I think a sleek charging dock that charged by contact (like electric toothbrushes) would be cool. :)
