Thanks guys!

Odd. The track ball is the only thing about the MM I like. Apparently most of you are too busy getting Cheeto debris on them...?

I was wondering if you've used something like the MX Revolution.

i'm about to go with the logitech MX revolution though... ;)

That's the problem, people making a switch out of Apple peripherals (for better mouse apparently).

Left, middle, right are the primary buttons, the others are just supplimentry, so either 7 or just 5 actual buttons and no squeeze (I hate that).

I think a sleek charging dock that charged by contact (like electric toothbrushes) would be cool. :)

You won't be able to use a docked mouse. ;)

I like both, I'd love a backlit keyboard and especially in black, the mouse is great too, it's about time for a new one I would think. As for the Magsafe, I realized the other day as my iPod hit the floor that I'd like Magsafe ports for everything. I don't think it's too much to ask for backlit wired keyboards and I really like the idea of a trackpad on the keyboard.

I was wondering if you've used something like Excel ;)

Sure the tiny trackball is great for panning around, but other than that, middle clicking, scrolling, everything else it's just inefficient. I was wondering if you do those things.

whenever i use my girlfriend's mighty mouse it feels like the first time i've ever used a mouse. awful!

this concept would probably sell for a pretty penny if it were to come to life.

Multi-touch on the top of the mouse is an interesting concept. I tried dragging my finger over my MM, and liked the idea. However.... I noticed that I was also moving my mouse at the same time, slightly. The mouse would need to ignore it's own movement while being used as a mult-touch device.

The mag-safe charger is also good. Not for safety, its just easy to use. I might take it a step further and make the other end (the part that connects to the power source) a standard USB plug. So basically a mag-safe USB cable. When its plugged in the mouse could actually talk to the computer via USB, and get its power as well. When unplugged its then BT. The reason for the USB mag-safe connection is that it then opens up all the Macs for use with the new mouse. And it keeps cord clutter to a minimum as most people use their mouse closer to the keyboard than the monitor or a power plug.

The introduction of a multi-touch keyboard is so overdue..... its not funny. Your concept ones look exactly like the ones Apple should be putting out (that is a compliment! Better that than looking like something Dell puts out, eh?!).

A wired backlit keyboard is also something Apple should introduce. There are actually a few people who need it for practical reasons. The rest of us would buy just because its cool! Apple could charge a premium for it. :)

Absolutely love the trackpad/keyboard combo, but it'd have to be in white for my money.

Not a big fan of the mouse, though. Make the nipple reliable on the mighty mouse and it's fine for me.

Nice mock-ups.

Esspecially the keyboard. Although I must admit....dare I say it....the mighty mouse is growing on me. Mainly the trackball.
