    Dual Boot iBook Air:

    11.6 Inch IPS Display
2.4 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
    Apple A4 1Ghz
    Nvidia Geforce 320M Graphics
    4GB Of Ram
128 GB SSD (100GB For OSX, 28 for iOS)
Swivel Display to switch between Netbook and Pad form factors
24 Hours Battery Life Running iOS
10 Hours Battery Life Running OSX.

I Bet apple releases this on the 20th, count on it.

Did you really need to start a new thread to make a post you could have made in one of any ten other threads discussing this issue? NEWBIE, duh.

11.6 Inch Display - Hope not. 13 is the smallest usable on a laptop

    No Apple A4
    No duel OS
No 10 hour battery. 6 at most.

I can see dual boot because you can use iOS to conserve power.

    On the fence
That's way too much stuff to cram into an "air" though is the problem.

11.6 IPS: No, it's a laptop. Keep it at 13 inch.
    2.4 Ghz Intel core 2 Duo: No, it's 2010. Go to i3
Apple A4 1Ghz: God no. My laptop has a same processor as my iPhone?
    Nvidia Geforce 320 M: Probably
4GB of Ram: Wouldn't hold my breathe.
128GB SSD: Maybe, but apple will ask for your kidney for that
Swivel Display: No, Keep it Mac OS
24 hours battery Life: WTH? iPad has only 10 hours, so where u getting this numbers from?
10 Hours Battery Life: No freaking way... With Flash, you will get 4-5 hours at most.

I doubt that iOS has battery optimizations that OS X doesn't have. IMO, they'd both have the same battery life.

The idea is that in iOS mode, the system would turn off the Intel CPU and the GPU and switch over to the A4. It's now an ipad running off the laptop's battery, not the main laptop hardware running iOS. The suggested power savings are coming from switching off the higher powered components, not from iOS power management .

This has been done before. Check out Dell's "Latitude ON" feature that's available on some of their Latitude Laptops.

I think the first priority for additional chips is a dedicated graphics card, but the dual system thing is sort of interesting. I can't see how they would switch elegantly between modes, but Apple's designers are a lot smarter that me...
