Macworld San Francisco 2009 (January 5-9, 2009), I do not believe sign up dates have been announced yet.

Well... something thats 110% assured is MWSF '09
But we're guessing an event should also take place somewhere in mid September for the MB/P upgrades! And probably one is Oct as well to introduce the iPods (if the same doesnt happen in the Sept event)

Those won't be public conferences, those will be invite only events that there will probably be a max crowd of 250 people. And in means of those events, I would swap them if they were separate, iPods in Sept, MB/MBP in October.

I guess that I tried to answered what the OP wanted! He never mentioned Public or Media... he just wants to know when Apple'll hold the MB/P upgrade conference!:)

Sorry, I guess I was the one that was wrong here, I somehow interpreted "line-up updates" as signing up for the conference, how I did that I do not know. But to the OP, those events are not Conferences, they are more like press releases in a way, and most updates don't even have those, they just update the store. But the iPod September update which is turning into an annual event does have a meeting done by Jobs of some sort, and I suspect that if they do end up doing a new style for the MacBook and MBP, then there will be some type of announcement, but it will probably be an invite only deal.

Well to be precise, none of these are really "conferences," except for WWDC. MacWorld is a consumer expo and the others Apple holds are media events. When these are announced they usually make front-page news at MR, so keep watching.

    Yep.... in full agreement!
Just followed to ease the OP I guess!

You've got a good point there, but to anybody wondering, the next big Apple event that is open to the public is MWSF '09. All others (unless Apple completely changes there ways of doing things) are private and invite only.

Ironically, a front page article just posted refers to MWSF as a "conference." IDG calls it a "conference and expo." They do run "conference" sessions along side the expo.
