Then either I or you must be looking at something different. Because these reviews are not All bad on the link listed below. I know a few people that have Hori, and they haven't had any issues with them. Again, It must be based on experience or preference.

The demo models of the Nintendo Switch at Gamestop use these, but they are applied correctly, which I think still plays a key role how these uphold.

I'll just come out and say that overall, the plastic film screen protectors get crap ratings compared to the tempered glass screen protectors.

Screen protectors to look for are:

I have plenty of experience with screen protectors as anyone in the alternatives section of the fora will attest based on the number of devices I've bought last few years.

My Hori was applied correctly. It was still subpar in my opinion.

As I stated before, to each their own based on experience with using them. And I never questioned you applied it correctly or not, some do not apply the apply the protector appropriately, which again, affects the experience.

Anyone else piking up Snake Pass at the end of the month ?

I am hungry for more games now on the Switch as I wasn't sure if I would keep the console when I bought it up man its just so "different".

I dont know if that will make any sense but I own an XB1S and a PS4Pro. Both great machines in their own right but I am continually drawn to the Switch. Yes its the newest but for me its the 10 second wake from sleep and back into a game type feeling and also grabbing and going from the dock to the couch instantly.

I am counting down until Mario Kart and a DK game. I hope they port over more Wii U games as I missed a lot of the excellent titles such as Tropical Freeze and Bayonetta 2.

OHHHH, you missed out on Bayonetta 2?? Man,you'd have love that, it's such a GREAT game!!!!
As for Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze though, that's one of the games that I downloaded ages ago as an eShop purchase, and have kept meaning to play, but never got round to actually playing it! The trouble I tend to have is that when I get engrossed in a game, lots of the other games I bought with the full intention of playing often get pushed further back of the queue. (Really I should just wait until I'm ready to actually play new ones before going out and spending money on them, as I'd save myself a fortune!) But oftentimes I just want them so much that I have to get it the moment I see it! I do fully intend to come back to it though, just there's a long list to get through!

I completely understand this coz I certainly did buy the Switch solely for Zelda :p. Luckily, the hype is (mostly) real. With that said, if you have someone to play with, do consider Snipperclips as well. That game is amazing. The most fun I've had playing a videogame with my wife.

My rationale for purchasing the Switch (besides for Zelda) was simple. The Switch is a safe bet if you like Nintendo games. Even the mega flop that is Wii U had some amazing Nintendo games on it. I'm expecting the Switch to at least match the Wii U's library. The Wii U certainly had more than 3 games worth buying IMHO. If this year's lineup of Zelda, Mario Kart, Splatoon & Mario appeals to you, there is really no reason to wait
Couldn't have said it more perfectly myself! That's exactly how I feel about them aswell! (spookily, almost every last detail to the letter, so I'm beginning to think you're my human clone!) lol.

But all joking aside, I'd even go as far as saying that there was (and still is) more than enough games to keep me satisfied on the WiiU, and definitely way more than three! (even if you just count the ones on physical discs there tonnes I still consider great games, but even more so when you count all the VC, which while I've bought a buckload of, I still couldn't ever afford to buy (let alone play) all the ones I wanted on there, even if I tried!).

That said, even though I could easily still play for another 10 years straight without ever having to buy another game ever again, I still do (and it didn't stop me buying the Switch either). But fortunately even when I finally do get through the whole of Breath of the Wild, I've definitely got plenty more WiiU games to come back to in between Switch releases if it ever comes to it. (In some ways might be a blessing in disguise if that happened, as it would give me a chance to get through more of the pre-existing games I keep meaning to come back to, but I have sneaky suspicion I won't have anywhere near as much free time as I'd like to in order to get through them all, no matter how badly I'm still dying to do it!

Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze was fantastic and really tough ...

I absolutely love DK games beginning from way back in the day to the evolution to what it has become. Never got around to it though and regret missing it.

Hope it comes to the eShop or a Switch version is released.

Yeah, I've noticed alot pf people saying this recently on forums about the Orzly ones taking ages to arrive. Mine turned up okay (but I ordered mine back in late February as a pre-order though, so that I'd have them ready for when the console came out). But it does look like lots of people ordering them after the Switch launch date are saying they are having exactly the same issues getting hold of them as you have, so they must be having some them real problems shipping them out since then. Have you tried contacting them to find out what's going on? I've dealt with them quite a few times in the past, and between you and me, you can sometimes get some freebies out of them when you contact their customer services for shipping issues. (I have done that once or twice in the past!)

But I can totally see how annoying it is though to have waited so long! (it was bad enough waiting for some of the actual Nintendo Switch accessories themselves!) The Zelda Guide book I pre-ordered for example took over a week to arrive after it should have done, and I'm still waiting for a couple of my Zelda Sheikah Eye cases!) Trying to get hold of Switch accessories generally is proving much harder to do for some things. (though it does help sometimes to try looking internationally for some of the stuff we can't get in our own countries. -Managed to get a few of my amiibos that way when some of the other amazon's had sold out)

Nice to see you've managed to find links for other ways to get similar stuff though! (A few of those seem to be on pre-order aswell already though, so everywhere does seem to be selling out fast!). If I still needed one, I'd be tempted to order all of them to race them and see which one turns up first! (let me know if anyone ever tries that experiment, as I'm sure that would be interesting to see!)

Just an FYI I ordered one of these WAAAY after you and I've chased my delivery as it was due to arrive yesterday and didn't. Got a response that says the following:

Dear customer

Thank you for your email.

I am sorry to see that your package has not yet been delivered. I have investigated your order and found that this was one of the orders which has gone missing with one of our Royal Mail shipments. Unfortunately many of our customers have complained about their orders which haven't arrived in the expected time frame and upon investigating, it came to our attention that there was whole batch of shipment, gone missing from Royal Mails delivery's. Looking at your order date, it looks like your order was also in this batch.

At the moment, we are investigating this with Royal Mail to find a solution. However, I do understand the urgency of this product to our customers and therefore I would be more than happy to process a free replacement of this order for you. Just to be on the safe side, can I also ask you to confirm me your name and address, so that I can double check this with the information in our system?

Please let me know if you wish the replacement or if you prefer the refund?

Doesn't fill me with confidence. Going to ask for a refund and buy elsewhere.

According to the game, it wasn't so hard ;) Who else here toughed it out and completed 200%?

If anybody wants a cheap Wii U, do *not* go to GameStop, they have them for $249 used

You can pick them up for $200 at the Nintendo refurbished site.

Yes, I also miss the old Club Nintendo...

GameStop knows what they're doing. Prices go up as some items get more scarce. I think the best chance to get a Wii U real cheap at this point is at the Walmart stores that still have them, when they decide to reclaim the shelf space and dump them really cheap.

It was quite nerve wrecking getting to that 200%. Some levels are very difficult to get through without taking a hit. Working those K levels on hard really gives a good cardio workout lol.

GameStop knows what they're doing? Is that why they are continually losing net revenue every year for the past three years? I know your referring to the Wii-U, but They had their worst year in there existence for the fiscal 2016 year. For 2016, there intitial sales dropped almost 17% and there market share dropped 8%. They rely heavily on selling used hardware, which also had a 5% Decline. The last three years, GameStop is losing to digital download and online sales for the used hardware market being more competitive/lucrative.

Gamers are smarter than Gamestop, because they know the horrible resale value for trade-ins with gaming merchandise and even phones/electronics are way under valued they accept, which isn't working.

I can't speak for your demographic, in my area, two stores consolidated into one, because the one store was not seeing enough foot traffic. And when you take stores like Target and Walmart that except trade-ins, and Best Buy is involved in the video game market more than ever, Gamestop is slowly dying. And it's not a secret either.

The One concept Gamestop has, is there exclusive midnight releases, which I'm not aware of any other retailers participate in this for new video games or hardware.

Oh I most definitely wasn't stating that in a complimentary way about GS. I rarely ever buy anything from GS, haven't in couple of years in fact. The last time was an old DS cartridge that I paid an obscene amount for - this is what I was referring to when I said they know what they're doing.

I stopped in a GameStop yesterday...literally the last stop, after looking at Target, Toys R Us, Wal-Mart and Best Buy, to see if there was a pro controller anywhere. Not expecting to find one, but had time to troll for one.

I swear, they are turning into the new Radio Shack, there was only 2 people in front of me, and one guy took forever because he was selling back his phone. They buy back phones too? It was a mess.

Oh yeah, I had to wait in line because their latest "idea" is to put out boxes in the shelves for stuff they don't have, to make it look like they have stuff (that they don't have). I'll never get back those 15 minutes of my life...

I pre-ordered a $600 bundle at Gamestop, am I insane?

I'm going to check Target and Gamestop next week though, I heard they're restocking. I can always cancel the bundle.

I do know Best Buy and Target won't verify stock over the phone. I Believe Gamestop will verify available stock. And of course online queries are not all that accurate. They must be getting a lot of phone calls, likely on the hour about the Nintendo Switch.

Has anyone tried to use the Switch Pro Controller with a Mac and Apple TV 4? I was thinking about picking it up just for that, since it gets so good reviews.

Hello, I am still alive in deep in Breath of the Wild, Shovel Knight, and Blaster Master. I intend to fully emerge soon. As it stands this is my favourite console ever, I doubted the importance of taking your whole "console" library with you at first thinking it no different to cross buy/play in certain PSN games with the Vita. But here I am fully into it. Each form has its use.

My kingdom for Streetpass though.

I emailed the Orzly's amazon store and they took down my details having waited a while for the TGSP. They apparently claimed something back off royal mail and sent a replacement which I got the next day. So kudos to orzly for such quick responses!
