Yes folks, in an unexpected turn of events, the Apple stores are starting to go down for the updates....

This has never, ever happened in the history of the world, ever....

Ever.

Any other references to the stores closing will be hunted down and shot.

Bugger, I normally get at least some work done in the afternoon before a Keynote. Now comes two - three hours of refreshing. The boss will be pleased!

Damn!

I just wanted to order a Mac Mini in stores! Anybody know anything about the reason they close down the stores just today! Something going on?

:D

Well golly gee, I was just at Regent Street and they were open, selling iWork '09, iLife '09, new Minis, 17" MBPs, touch iMacs (some even with Quad-Cores), Mac Pro i7's, iPhone Nanos and iPhone 3Gs with 32 GB, iHome media servers, DRM-free music (all you can eat), touch LCDs (some that replace mice) and even something called Snow Leopard.

I can hear the sounds of Londoners being fired from here... :D

Must get my iSteveMacBot to head down there for me. :D

"Raar raar raar, I say there little chap, did you just give me the old sack?"

Yeah - not a big fan of the posh London accent, quite the opposite of a thick aggressive Scots accent :p

Even the physical stores are down! I was just kicked out of the Apple Store in Boston.

Of course, that may have had something to do with the fact that I wasn't wearing pants...

Oooooooohhh!

I haven't been this excited since ever. 17" Macbook Pro-Air *fingers crossed*

I heard a rumor that they took the Apple store down, and when it comes back up it will be running on a new Early 09 Mac Mini server with 1TB of hard drive space, and 4GB RAM.
