That’s strange...I get the same context menu as I do on the home screen.
Your screenshot has made me realise however that I don’t get a “Top Hit” in my searches......just the various categories.

iPhone 11 Pro The one place I really miss 3D Touch:

Your screenshot has made me realise however that I don’t get a “Top Hit” in my searches......just the various categories.
I used my friends phone which has 3D Touch. After I search for 'Mail', i can 3D touch the icon to get this menu.
I'm not specifically clicking on a email but the app itself so that i can get secondary options. I use folders for all my apps and i don't remember where all of them are. I also use the 3D touch to reach the secondary options for better efficiency.
I did go into my iphone and change the Siri changes to and added "suggestions"
Then i can long press those items but not in "top hits". It's better than nothing and i'll take it for now.

I don’t get top hits for any search. I’m on iOS 13.1.2 on an 11 Pro Max. What are you on?
I'm on 13.1.2 - i think i figured out why i get top hits. I didn't like how siri suggestions was coming up so i disabled it. Try disabling it in general settings and i think then you will find Top hits.

It’s the compromise one has to make to gain other functionality such as much improved battery life.
For some reason, haptic touch on my iphone 11 pro destiny give me the option to text my recent contacts directly. This is all I get - but other have reported that it should also show my favourites or recents contacts in this list so I can message them directly

It’s the same for me on my Xʀ.
No. Works for me on my pro max on the latest beta (one contact comes up). Don’t know how many are meant to show though.
Yes. I’d the green iphone 11 pro for 2 weeks. Regularly texting the family members. But never shows up as a shortcut with haptic touch
Same with the new silver iphone 11 pro. All other apps do have the shortcuts as expected. Mails, photos, Whatsapp etc.
Gotta agree, for those who utilized it to its full capabilities, it was certainly much better than Haptic...I do believe they'd still be able to get a larger battery in it now that they are ok with making the phone thicker again...
Are you restoring new or backup (what kind)!?
Perhaps turn iMessage off (for at least one minute) and then turn back on.
Did the phone to phone transfer during the new iphone setup
I turned off iMessage and turned it back again. Let’s see what happens
