For years I lusted after a lime green clamshell iBook but could never justify buying one because I always had a more powerful Powerbook G3 to use. I simply wanted the clamshell iBook because of the cool color and handle.

Maybe 10 years later, a neighbor was having a garage sale and I was finally able to get that lime green iBook for a whopping $15. Ordered a new battery for it and played with it for a while (but by then it really was pretty antiquated in terms of usability). I still have it but, alas, it's been relegated to my storage loft. However, I still think the color is awesome, almost as awesome as the color of my green M1 24 inch iMac.
It was awesome. Such a fun computer to own. I had the special Edition version. Loved the handle on it!!! The weakest part of the computer was def the screen though.

Green on tech is always great. I really wish Apple would release an iPhone in Racing Green. That's be the greatest iPhone ever! Haha.

Another Apple Item I wish I'd got on earlier was the iPod. I waited until the 3rd Gen to jump on. I'd been using MiniDisk up until then. I didn't make the same mistake when the iPod Touch first came out though. Jumped on that. Remember using it in the shop and immediately knowing how to use it. It was so intuitive. Brilliant by Apple!

In storage? You should haul it out of there. I know its not usable as a computer anymore beyond "it turns on," but make it a decoration in your house, a topic of discussion for visitors :)

I always wanted a Macintosh LC II, just because when I was growing up we had them in the music lab at school. But I always wanted the matching CRT to go with it, and it was always way too expensive when I found that combo on eBay or whatever. Never did buy one, and these days I don't really have the room for one. Also they've about doubled in price since those days too. 😄

About the last three generations of MacBooks. And an iPod Classic. And a newer iPhone.

But my 2011 MacBook Pro is still chugging. My Gen 1 iPhone SE still works. And the house has new siding and shingles. A new garage door opener is on order. The leak in the bathroom shower is fixed (along with all new tile). And my wife has a decently newer car.

If I had the room, I'd display all of my old Apple computers, which include but are by no means limited to:
my original Apple ][+, three (3) Apple ][GSes, my original 512K Macintosh, a couple of "gumdrop" iMacs, a tangerine iBook, in addition to the aforementioned lime green iBook. A veritable Apple museum... Alas, I simply do not have the room to display all of my Apple gear.
