I have to agree with Wally here. Back in my PC days I got a real sense of achievement after defeating a virus (yeh, ok, they usually took 20 essays down with them), removing adware and solving network problems. Nowadays no virus', no adware, no network problems.
Shall I FDISK my hard disk, accidently break the boot up disk, find another computer and make a new boot up disk, find out its incompatible, download a 386 boot up disk, it kinda works and use it to install windows 3.1, then only have an upgrade disk to 95. Then use 95 to fdisk again and try and rewrite the autoboot.exe file using dos' EDIT so that d:/ drive drivers work so I can install off a non-bootable Windows 98 disk? No
There is no adventure now.
So what's that left me with, Wally? Like many others, instead of defragging or reformatting or reorganising or renetworking in our spare time, we write posts on MacRumors.
