    I have a 2ghz blackbook with 1gb of ram

I have parallels with XP and have installed my reallllly old copy of HL2/CS:S on it but something happened with my account that I need a new copy of the game.

So I was it at all possible to run The Orange Box on a blackbook via parallels?

Yes!, with Crossover...Parallel/Windows not required either...
for £25.99 + the cost of the orange box download from the steam site, i was up and running Team Fortress 2 on my First Gen MBP within an hour.

MBP is not a blackbook :p

the answer is no, you will need atleast the Macbook Pro's card (8600GT 256 or 512) in order for it to run well

it may work if you put on it boot camp and put the
lowest settings even then it may not play that good
