I came across this online and I though it was interesting...

i have seen that never knew what is was!

Glad they went with the Apple with a bite out of it!

If you think that was bad...yeesh. Microsoft's original one is 70s futuristic crud - same goes to most companies when they start out in the beginning...not that great, but it improves over time.
 
Their logo today is perfect! 🙂

😱 @ at those Microsoft logos! The original Apple one is pretty bad, too. It's way too busy to even be a logo. But I know, I know... that was 30 years ago. 😛

Seriously, I used that logo as my 'tar when I reached the 6502 status 😎

That's also back when Jobs was hitting acid. I think the influence of that is pretty evident in that logo. It looks like its from a 16th century bottle of absinthe.
 
That logo totally looks like something from the 1800s!

Thanks for posting it as I had never seen it.
