Just ordered my colcasac!

My ColcaSac just came in yesterday and it seems great so far. I have had one for my iPad for over a year now and have had no issues with it. I was a bit nervous when I first put my rMBP in it as it was quite a tight fit but just after one day of use it is already loosened up. Definitely recommend!

Maybe you guys should start a Colcasac thread instead.:confused:

Well the title of the thread is the perfect sleeve and it sounds like others think Colcasac is. Obviously, different people have different opinions.

Looks like my Willow&Co MBA case!

Willow&Co seems is a bit cheaper too.

You can contact the seller on her Etsy and she does custom dimensions: http://www.etsy.com/shop/WillowandCompany

I ordered the suede sleeve from SFbags but the pack and smooch looks very nice.

Not sure what i would of done had i known about this before i ordered

I had an Incase neoprene sleeve for my previous MacBook Pro and thought it was perfect. It was durable, the lining was thick, the fit was perfect, and it kept my laptop in great condition.

It was not the current slim case sleeves which they sell at the Apple store, those barely have any padding and don't seem like they'd protect your laptop nearly as well as the older ones. I purchased one for my Retina MBP and the fit is really bad, though I realize it's not made for it.

Foofbags !

I ordered a foofbag - haven't received the computer or the bag yet, but think they look slick.

http://foofbag.com/

Seriously though, nothing but a simple bag - but stylish colors and great service website. Plus, they have the mbpr size out right away for the perfect fit.

Not for the fancy work folks, but maybe a tennis-shoes-in-the-office type or no-office type or the student would enjoy!

Monthly discounts are available through their twitter feed. You can just google "foofbag discount".

Disclosure - I'm not affiliated with foofbag in any way - just passing on the info that others exist.

Peli Hardcase 1085CC

i bought a Peli Case Hardback 1085CC on purpose -- they say 14" but the new MacBook Pro Retina fits very well, there is yet space for the power supply and some sheets of paper and a pen.

now I have to find out how to fix it on the bicycle ?

I'm looking to buy a foofbag for my retina macbook pro, they look great (although probably a little less protection than I'd like). But their website doesn't show that every design is being made for the retina macbook pro (only some). I emailed them about this..

Also for those who have it, does the fleece scratch or kind of buff down the aluminum at all? I'm guessing not but still. Also, does it stretch out over time?thanks.:)

Thanks for this reference!

It is the only one that caught my eye and purchased along with the iphone/card holder (which cost just as much...)

Like many of you, as soon as the MBP with retina display was announced, I ordered the laptop and started emailing vendors to see if they made a sleeve or bag for the rMBP. After searching, I ended up going with Pack and Smooch's Hampshire Sleeve for my rMBP. I have used their sleeve for my previous 11" MBA and my iPhones and I really like their quality.

The sleeve for the rMBP is no different. It is made of high quality wool and tanned leather. It is precisely cut and tailored to the laptop. I really like how clean and simple it is without adding much bulk.

As you can see from the pictures, there is a pocket the width of the sleeve to fit anything from paperwork to pens/pencils, to your iPhone and/or the charger. I prefer to keep mine empty with the exception of a few papers or bills that I might need to take to work.

Now this sleeve is perfect to protect your rMBP from scratches and making it an extra protection if you put it in another bag. It doesn't have drop protection but I don't think many sleeves do anyways.

This should last me a long time since my 11" sleeve protected my laptop well until I sold it and I still use the iPhone sleeves for both my wife's and my iPhone 4S.

I tried my best to attach decent pictures but checkout the website for better pics and other colors available.

You are welcome! I'm still very happy with mine and haven't found another sleeve/case that I prefer over this one.

He doesn't have a centralized sale point, but Etsy seems to be his main one: http://www.etsy.com/shop/PicasoLab

He sent me a message last week saying he was just waiting on the leather. They should be shipping out late this week or early next week. Can't wait.

He actually sent me an email today with his new site where you can order directly from him...I'll probably order either tonight or tomorrow. That thing looks fantastic right? Are you getting it for a Retina MBP?

Can you share the link please?

Just ordered mine, you might want to shoot him an email first to make sure if you use that site it's pretty beta right now. His email is PicasoLab@gmail.com

Seems like a great guy, can't wait to get mine along with my Retina!

Whoa! Those are awesome. I don't know why I haven't heard of them before. It would be interesting to see one made of distressed leather.

Someone post a video and/or pic review of theirs, please.

I'll post a video when mine arrives. I had never heard of them either but they look awesome.
