I've been hunting for something with no success, so I turn to my favorite forum!

I'd like a small flash drive, but I would like it to have the "full" tip USB connector. I already have one with a "1/2 connector" without the metal wrapping, but it is sometimes unreliable and confuses non-tech people I give it to.

Ideally, it would be like the LaCie itsaKey (http://www.lacie.com/us/products/product.htm?pid=11227), but with the big flared end part chopped off.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

You cannot settle for anything less than this.

Try the LaCie iamaKey. Just like itsaKey, but as you requested, no flared up end.
