Pleo has been developed to be as life like as possible. Watch the video to see it's "as life like as possible" movements.

Yeah I know there's been a string of such robotic type virtual pets over the years, but I just got have me a Pleo 😀
 
Get me one too. Although it looks a bit hard to get your finger back after you offer it to chew on.

Watching the video, I was expecting it be like $2000+!

Its a bargain compared to Sony's (discontinued) Aibo!
 
I can see now that I'm going t be out $200 "late Q3"... thank god these things don't have pack behavior, or else, I'd be out $1000 - a herd would be cool. 😉

It shows him being woken up, exploring etc.

Very neat, but there are a few things that I don't like. For example he moves very slowly and occasionally jerks a lot. Also there's no word on wether they'll release upgrades for the software like Aibo (although they are apparently going to release behaviour packs). I'll wait for the Pleo 2 🙂

It is a great video, it's longer, better quality and shows off different features!
Works fine for me on both Mac and PC. Must be your computers/connections. Don't press any of the buttons, just load the page and wait.

If it still doesn't work for you don't moan back in this thread, there's nothing we can do.
