Aside from erasing and restoring the phone you return to Apple for your trade-in on the upgrade plan, do you need to do anything else? Do you remove it from your account as if you sold it, or does that happen automatically after they receive and process the phone?

I’ve always done my trade-ins in the store, where they basically just did it all for me. I just want to be sure I do what I need to do to protect myself, and have the phone returned how they want it.

Turn off find my iPhone.. it’s better to sell it your self. They rip you off trading it in.

I posted on here and I really can’t get much, if any, more than I owe on it selling it.
