Does it scratch up the MBP?

On my wrist, the plastic end is exactly in the middle of my wrist, so would make full contact.

I have never had any issues with the sport loop band end scratching any of my current or previous MacBooks or other laptops.

You mean the tip that secures the band in place. My AW sits further up my arm so it doesn't reach the MBP. If I wear it closer to my hand it only touches the MBP if I put the wrist down flat. It is more natural to hold the arm/hand at an angle when typing and then only the smooth parts of the band touch the Mac.

Me neither.

Only thing is when y’all have the ultra alpine loops that’ll be a different story as the buckles are titanium.

Plastic or fabric ain’t it for scratches don’t worry about it.

That's because MBA M1 is solid as a rock ;)
They all are aluminium bruh! 😎
Btw y’all none of my sport loops scratch up any of my stuff!

Nike sport loops the newer ones that came out with the Apple Watch series 9, now has fabric pull tabs like trail loops from Apple Watch Ultra.

But if y’all have stainless steel straps like Milanese loop, link bracelets or the titanium Milanese loop it may scratch y’all’s Macs. 🖥️ If the buckle sits at the middle instead of pulling it all the way if your wrist is smaller. Mines I pull it all the way around.
