Its really crazy. My brother was able to purchase a 16” model 2.4GHz / 32GB RAM / 5600M / 2TB storage model for $2500. It also has three years of AppleCare on it as well until August of 2024. I can’t believe they are going for that low.

If you are in desperate need of a new one right now there are some crazy deals to be had by people who want to offload their intel models for the upcoming M1 models. I get most want to wait, but he was more than happy to pay the price he did for a pretty great MacBook Pro.

That is a pretty sweet deal. The 5600M doesn't suffer from the ridiculous overheating with external monitor situation.

I was just about to post about where people find good deals on these models... any suggestions?

I’d check out Swappa. Its a very reliable buying site and I’ve always had great success buying there. Those models do pop up on there from time to time.

I would argue the M1 MBP / MBA prices have bottomed out even more. There doesn't seem to be any love nor demand anymore for those fantastic computers and that's a damn shame.

That is not true. MBA M1 sells like hotcakes for a laptop since day one.
