Got mine 15" since August, the screen is simply awesome. No light bleeding, no image retention, btw is a Samsung screen. :D

For starters, 102 battery cycles, 100% health

What do you guys think about this?

I know the photo isn't the best to demonstrate it. I might try taking another one later.

The bottom left is really catching my eye since I read books full screen on a white background.

Is this an expected level or is it supposed to be better than this?

I got the best screen that I have seen on the rMBP in terms of uniformity, black light bleeding and whiteness. I have compared my machine to alot of rMBP's in the Apple store (I think around 15 other rMBP's)

While there might be other screens that have slightly better whites, they can't compete on either backlight bleeding or uniformity.

Was great until...

My rMBP is 16 months old and I awoke yesterday to find tiny, 1-pixel width lines running down the middle of my screen. After restarting and downloading the latest updates, there is still one line there. It doesn't show up in a screen capture. Figures that four months after my warranty expires This would happen... Im going to post a question about this now.
