People are caught up mostly by the external design of the iPhone 5.

I am more interested in the internals. One thing that is absolutely needed is RAM upgrade. If Apple upgrades it to 1GB RAM, it would improve everything.

1GB Ram was introduced in the iPad 2. Im pretty sure Apple will do the same for the iPhone 5, but I dont see that as a big plus. They had over 2yrs to design the phone and adding more ram is nothing drastic.
And as noted above, 512MB is more than enough, seriously?? How many things does 1 person do that they would consume all 1GB of ram ???

1GB was introduced in the New iPad. The iPad 2 had 512MB Ram and the iPad had 256MB.

I need 1GB. I have lags of up to 20 seconds sometimes even more doing the most basic of stuff. The lag goes away after I close all opened apps.
