The headphone jack is on the RIGHT HAND SIDE!

Headphone wires come from the left.

Seriously, this is the real issue. Am I right?!?

Never noticed that - damn, going to have to rearrange my desk.

I know it's disturbing, but there's hope :)

You can get an a USB-C audio adapter for the left side. You can even get a bluetooth transmitter to plug in the right side which will send the audio signal the left side (this is what I do, works great).

Uh, you do know that the MacBook has Bluetooth 4.2 built in already -- no external (or USB) transmitter necessary!

Internal Bluetooth is way too easy.

Remember Airplay! That was so.....broken :(

Apple has a way with these things. One courageous thing after another

It's going to be a long couple weeks, me thinks :D

I'm lucky, I run everything through a hub and my audio is hub to receiver via TOSLINK. *thumbs up*

When I'm on the road, bluetooth is my friend.

But that aside, I am SHOCKED at Apple's oversight on this issue. ;)

What's one more adapter added to the list of adapters and dongles lol :D

I wouldn't be surprised if Apple removes the headphone jack on the 2017 MBP and in doing so they will sell more wireless EarPods, a win/win for Apple but a lose/lose for the consumer who is forced to buy wireless EarPods. $160.00 ouch!!

I don't like it, but I assume it was to make it consistent with the rMB. I also don't understand why these ports are father from the back than on the rMacBook.

Its better on the right side, before it was always in the way when using lefthand for keyboard, now the cord goes in perfect way to not be in the way by beeing in middle between arms

Hehe I guess this is a 50% of the users have it issue.
Like the Magsafe on the older models being on the left hand side (which I personally hated because all my plugs usually are on the right hand side when I use it)
