I bet they put a non conductive clear coating on it asap, that is why this free bumper deal runs out sept 30.
 
I don't want a sub-par phone, especially now that Apple "admits" to the shortcoming.

Instead of addressing the issue, Steve dodged it simply by saying that everyone else has it.
