    ..Is what a "Genius" just tried to convince me of for twenty minutes. What the hell is going on at Apple Stores now? Are they trained?

    He's probably confused with the 9.7->10.5 IPP... It's still no excuse for an Apple employee.

    I literally told him "No I think you are confusing the 10.5 transition from the traditional iPads" and he STILL was convinced he was right. What a mess.

    Was the person a “genius”?
    I don’t believe all the employees working in the Genius Bar are in the genius position.

    I’ve said it many times. These “genius” guys are sales people trained in a few hardware replacements that any other corner phone repair shops can do as well. They come from various walks of life. Not necessarily techie nerds.

    Sales people should know a minimum about the products they are selling. Screen size is pretty basic IMO.

    Completely agree with that. I’m just saying that just because they work as genius, doesn’t mean they’re really into tech as such.

    Particularly when it's marketed specifically as a 12.9" - that kinda gives the game away! :D

    and its so exact.... 12.9" not 13" class or whatever they do with TVs
