When did networks start cranking down on DRM? Now when I try to watch "Being Human" on my larger 30" display, the display I ALWAYS use to watch iTunes content on, I get: "This movie can be played only on displays that support HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection). Try moving the iTunes window to a different display. Make sure the entire window is on the supported display."

Now I am forced to watch content on my iMac's smaller display? ::grumble::

Is there a fix for this?

The movie industry somehow imagines that pirates would attach a recorder directly to the video output of your computer, record the movie from there, and then sell pirated copies. Which they have never done, there are either and less painful ways to make pirated copies.

Is there a fix? Of course not, except by buying a TV that supports HDCP or by buying / renting movies that don't require HDCP. If there was a fix, then obviously all pirates would know about it, and the whole HDCP mess would be pointless. (Which it is anyway, but it would be _obviously_ pointless).
