More than likely, 1-2 days...when I ordered my Apple case for the iPad, it changed to "Prepared for Shipment" the next day, and "Shipped" the following day, so I imagine this will follow the same pattern...hopefully!

Darn. I ordered wifi model on the 28th and I am only in town on the 8th... from the time people are quoting I don't think it will make it. 😡

Depends on when they ship it...for instance, my iPad case left Shenzhen, CN on the 20th, and was delivered to me in East Lansing, MI on the 23rd, and that was with standard shipping. So, there's still hope!
WTF..... Why would they take the packages off the plane? Maybe they found something wrong with it..... Ughhhh..... I was REALLY hoping to get it today. I'm think at best, Wednesday. Probably more like Thursday or Friday though. Bummer.........

I still have a little hope... 🙂 If it does not ship by Wednesday the 5th I am just going to cancel it and try to pick one up in person while I am working in Vegas. At least you guys have Apple Stores... I technically live in the U.S. with not a single one on my island... 🙄
so it hasn't shipped yet and your hoping to maybe get it by saturday? I wish I shared your optimism 🙁 I been waiting all day for my shipped email.

Yeah, the problem is I live in PR. So I ordered to my families house in Atlanta and I am there for one day, the 8th, before I am in Vegas for two weeks working. My case is almost there but the iPad is not... lol Good times.
For those of you , who like me have the "Airline Offloaded Packages"
after a few long holds and phone games .. According to UPS my package is still on schedule for tomorrow the 4th. I told them it was for today 5/3 and they said the system right now shows on schedule for tomorrow. I was very polite and she said it shows 5/4, but oh well. She claims their system shows it in normal transit to the destination.
But even more annoying, not one of the 5 different ups people i talked to in all this, can explain to me why my package says Offloaded or even what it means. I got bounced around 3 people in the domestic division and 2 in the international shipping division
i can't believe this is a totally new error just to keep us ipad droolers on edge of suspense. Another unsolved mystery tho

You know how when you talk to 3 different employees of the same company you get 3 different answers? Well, I was curious to see what they would say when I called after you called.
I was transfered to 2 reps before someone could give me any info. She said she did not know why the packages were taken off the airplane but that it does happen. She indicated that it is usually a customs issue. 🙄
She said that they have not imported yet, meaning still outside of the USA, but they had been pre cleared for release for customs and that they could get the shipping ready. She did not show a new arrival date and said that it would probably be two more days. 🙁
According to her the status updates every 24 hours when there is an Exception so we might not get more info until tomorrow AM.
that would be awesome. Every time I hear an email on my iPhone I hope its a tracking #
Seriously? For how long are we going to have the "When will it ship thread"? I'm sure when the the 7th comes along someone will have the "I ordered on the 7th shipping information" thread and it will never end...
Probably as long as people keep ordering ipads 😀

Since you mentioned it..
My camera kit was scheduled for shipping on the 10th of May with delivery on the 13th.
It actually shipped on 29th of April with an estimated delivery of 5th of May. It has been stuck in HK since 30th of April.
