    Turbo sim

    The person is using turbosim. The simcard is placed on top of a transparent like "circuited" chip.
    Check out jailbreaking section.
    YouTube jailbraking iPhone.
    I cannot help further as I don't use a modified iPhone.

    02.11.07 is 2.2.


    Make Sure to take out the Turbosim before syncing, I think that may be the problem. If that fails Try DFU and restore.

    No, Jailbreaking your iPhone has nothing to do with unlocking it.

    I think 2.11.07 is the baseband from 2.0.
