The Sims 3 installation won't work.

I downloaded it from direct2drive.com and it opens up but then it says "could not verify the integrity of the installer" and then I click OK and it quits. How can I fix this?

And you paid for the copy right? If it's an illegal copy you won't get help here; it's against the forum rules to help with illegal copies.

Never mind I redownloaded it and it works now.

im having exactly the same problem. i downloaded it legally from EA games website. and it either come up with that message or is frozen on file 500.. please help me!
