Today, for the first time, I encountered a new bug with the Stage Manager (Ventura 13.3). While browsing files in the Finder, I had one big folder opened (in list mode), and made a get info on a file located on the desktop. When I click on the file's icon, the info window goes out to the left edge of the screen, while I'm still in the Finder! If I bring back the info window, it's the open folder which disapears to the left side! WTF!??
I closed the Stage Manager, and reopened it a few minutes later. This weird behaviour appears to be gone (unable to reproduce it). But I still don't understand how this SM is supposed to work. If I click on the desktop background (while staying in the Finder), I'm getting some SM "motion" that I don't understand (some window from another app appears into view). If I'm in another app, and then click on the desktop background to bring the Finder to the front, I don't get any Finder's window.
The Stage Manager is inconsistent and unpredictable. What gives, Apple?
