I've been patiently waiting for my work to include the iPhone X on its staff plan.

With no idea when that was going to happen, I'd booked a trip to Singapore about a month ago (departing tomorrow).

I knew I was going on holiday some time around now & was hoping to bring the X along for some better photo action than my 3.5 year phone. But I'd given up, thinking the 6S will have to do.

Tuesday this week, work announces staff plans for the X :D. 4 months after release, due to some internal processing issues....normally takes ~6 weeks after the public release date for phones to become available to staff.

Phone was express delivered yesterday. Case purchased yesterday, screen protector purchased last November (I planned early), SIM activated earlier this morning....& we're good to go!

The timing of it finally being in my hands & working the day before departure is

Edit... Oh & I've just noticed IOS 11.3 is out too... Downloading now.

The stars have aligned!

I'm planing a trip to Singapore myself. Do you share photos via imgur or instagram or some other service?

I've used imgur in the past, but haven't really shared photos in that manner for a while, but if requested, I can do so :D.

Which is the best service that maintains as close to original picture quality? & is free?;)

This iPhone X was made for me. The size difference to the 4.7" screen is a pleasure to view/use, but anything bigger & it'll be a chore to use, especially with one hand. The biggest I could go is possibly the 6.1". But this years rumoured downgraded 6.1" model won't appeal.... I'm thinking the 2019 6.1" OLED with full fledged features may be my next goal. But this 5.8" is such a sweet spot, I may stick with it.

Apple's Silicone case is doing the job, & the screen protector's now cured. It's the comfortable, sleek & stealthy combination I was after...
